Friends are Fabulous

Friends are fabulous people. This blog will delve into the many areas of friendship.
My best friends would do anything for me. If I need help, they are right there. If I am crying, they are right there to lend a shoulder. If I am lost, they will look for me and help me find myself again. If I am happy, they will rejoice with me too. I return the love as much as I can.
I have other friends with whom I am not so close. Those friends interact with me socially, but do not share my deepest thoughts and secrets. They are fun to be with. They can make me laugh or cry with their stories, feel good, feel bad, feel excited, feel sad.
Then there are the friends I have never met, yet there is a strong connection. There is a Swedish friend with whom I can share everything, as we understand each other extremely well. There is my American friend who seems to know when I need a laugh and sends it. There is my Australian friend who offers me support just when I am ready to quit. With these friends I have a deep connection that almost seems to come from another source. It is a deep and very meaningful connection. Even when not online for days, we have this connection. Almost like we can sense each other's presence in the world.
Then there are the people we meet everyday, the drug store pharmacist, the grocery clerk, the meter reader, and on and on. A different type of friendship again. Not so close, just a familiarity from seeing often.
Having different relationships with people is the gift that keeps on giving. It is the salt which keeps life interesting. It is the bread on which we feed.
I love making new friends and cultivating relationships with new people. I really love having the special friends who are always there when I need them. I especially love meeting new people every day. How do I do that?
I meet a lot of people on twitter. made a few very good friends and some very good business contacts too.
this is how I keep in touch with them all.
